This time every year up here in New England, the bodybuilding season really heats up. You see... the best bodybuilding show in New England, and maybe even the country takes place in Cape Cod, MA. on October 10th.

They come from all over the country to compete, judge, help, or just watch one of the most competitive shows of the year. Everything the OCB / IFPA stands for is front and center at this event. The best competitors come to compete... the best judges come to judge... the best friends and supporters come to cheer on all of the competitors.

James and Katie Carron are the promoters and hosts of one of the best run shows you'll ever attend. There's a special buzz in the air when you arrive at the venue. It's obvious that this isn't your typical show. It's not just the anticipation of seeing the IFPA Pro's do their thing on stage, but also knowing that the entire show will have competitors in every class going head to head and giving it everything they have to prove their the best.

It's not uncommon to see a few elbows mingle during the heat of battle. At the end of the day though... everyone's a great sport, and everyone comes together to congratulate each other for their effort.

James and Katie are definitely hands on promoters. Their always available to take care of everyone's needs. Back in 2006 I attended my first of 3 Cape Cod Naturals. I was deep in the bowels of the venue when James somehow found me, and told me to hunt him down if I needed anything at all. At the time, I didn't know James personally. This was James just being James... every competitor is important to him, and he makes the experience of competing in the show the best ever!

In the last three years I have had the pleasure of competing twice, and judging once at the show. I have seen IFPA greats Doug Miller, Phillip Ricardo Jr., Sean Sullivan, Dave Goodin, Kareem Petteway, Carl Mathews Jr., and many other great Pro bodybuilders line up on stage at this event. I've seen the likes of Chris Zangari, Kirt Edwards, Bob MacCleod, Kelly Correa and Lisa Watson earn their prestigious IFPA Pro Cards, as well as gotten to watch, and participate in so many close battles amongst some of the best talent the OCB / IFPA has to offer.

From the personal attention... to the Neils Anderson trophies... no detail is missed. James and Katie Carron are shining examples of what can be accomplished when you care more about putting on the greatest experience for everyone who attends their show, over the money they can make from it.

Today... I am lucky enough to call James and Katie friends. Within the next few weeks I will attend yet another of their great shows. If you have a chance... come join us. Come join the best show in New England!
