Kate Dulac-Serodio

It became very clear to Kate 7 years ago that she was going to need a new competitive outlet.  Kate was an accomplished soccer player and lived for the game in college.  Soccer was a part of her identity and she couldn’t imagine life without it.  However, after her 2^nd ACL tear, along with numerous other injuries/concussions, she knew her soccer days were over. Realizing that a piece of your identity will no longer be... is very difficult. 

Kate felt lost and wondered who she was or who she could possibly be without being a soccer star.  Yes, it was only division 3, so being a star wasn't that difficult. So, Kate hung her cleats and like most ex-athletes, she hit the gym. 

Kat went through the motions. Why was she lifting? Why was she working out so hard?  She didn't have a game or a goal to work hard for.  Well, perhaps she had a date or two, but it just wasn't the same. Kate needed more. Finally, four years ago she walked into the gym and a trainer approached her and told her about a local figure competition that was taking place in 2 months. Finally, a goal, a reason to lift, a reason to push herself the extra mile and she has been competing ever since. 

Kate loves the prep, not so much game day, but instead the drive it gives her.  Cleats to stilettos... yes, very different, but both a vehicle to compete.

Kate has a combination of stunning looks, a perfectly balanced physique and  dominating stage presence. With her overall victory at the 2008 Spirit of America, she became an IFPA Figure Pro.
